Office for Persons with Disabilities

Meet Melissa Waldon

The Diocese of Dallas has ushered in a transformative chapter in its ministry to persons with disabilities with the appointment of Melissa Waldon as director of the Office for Persons with Disabilities. Waldon, whose extensive experience and commitment to inclusion span more than 27 years, began her new role on Jan. 1.

About

This day is dedicated to remembering and praying for all the faithful departed, those beloved souls who have gone before us and now await the fullness of resurrection in Christ.

All Souls Day holds a special place in the heart of our Catholic faith. It is a time when we, as a community, come together to honor the memory of our departed loved ones and to lift them up in prayer. We are called to pray for their eternal rest, trusting in God’s infinite mercy and love. Our prayers, Masses, and acts of charity on their behalf are powerful expressions of our hope and our belief in the communion of saints.
