Day of Remembrance
Join us on September 11, 2026, at 8:04 AM at the National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the Mass of Remembrance on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
The Diocese of Dallas will gather in prayerful remembrance to honor those who lost their lives, to remember the families and communities whose lives were forever changed, and to entrust all who continue to carry the wounds of that day to the loving mercy of God.
The faithful throughout the Diocese are invited to join in prayer for healing, peace, and renewed hope as we commemorate this anniversary.

Day of Remembrance Prayer
O God of love, compassion, and healing, look on us who gather today to remember the scenes of incredible violence and pain, to reflect on the lives lost and the courage demonstrated, and to pray for all impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
God of wisdom, understanding, and right judgment, we seek your light and guidance as we confront such terrible events, not only the terrorist attacks of twenty-five years ago but also the human tragedies and terrible acts of violence happening in our own time.
Comfort and console us, strengthen us in hope, and give us the courage and foresight to work tirelessly for a world where true peace and love reign among nations and in the hearts of all.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son, who is Lord forever and ever.
Amen.
