Catholic Relief Services
About Us
The Diocese of Dallas currently invites all parishes and schools to participate in CRS Rice Bowl, which takes place each Lent. Seventy-five percent (75%) of money collected through this program is sent to CRS to help support their global solidarity work. The other twenty-five percent (25%) remains in the Diocese of Dallas to help support those in need. Additionally, our parishes take up the Catholic Relief Services Collection, which is a national collection, on March 29-28, 2025 (Fourth Sunday of Lent). This collection supports CRS and other Church organizations that carry out international relief and solidarity efforts.
Worldwide efforts: CRS works in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Some areas of focus are improving community health, agricultural assistance, water security, access to better education, providing emergency response during natural disasters and humanitarian crises. Visit the CRS Website to learn more about their work overseas or get the latest news.
Take Action!
If you feel called to take action, then join us in a growing movement to end global poverty and amplify the life-saving work of Catholic Relief Services. Across the United States, CRS clubs and chapters bring together committed people of faith to lead the way in support of our sisters and brothers in need.
Thank You for Giving!
This year has been unusual and yet, your faith continues. You have prayed and supported, cared and gave–across distances. Watch your annual video of the difference your gifts made!
