Catholic Advocacy Day

Catholic Advocacy Day 2025: April 1

Join Bishop Edward J. Burns and Catholics from across Texas as we gather at the state Capitol in Austin for Texas Catholic Advocacy Day, April 1, 2025. This event, organized by the Texas Conference of Catholic Bishops (TCCB), raises awareness of key legislative priorities that impact our faith, families, and communities.

We invite you to pray that lawmakers thoughtfully consider these priorities. You can also make a difference by contacting your state representatives to support policies that align with Catholic values.

Stay informed, take action, and help amplify the Catholic voice in Texas!

Unable to make it to Austin? Watch live from the Capitol on the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops’ Facebook page on April 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM CT.

3 of every 10 Texans are Catholic! Catholic Advocacy Day gives us an opportunity to participate in the public square of our great state. Join us April 1 for a day of meeting with legislators and learning more about the work being done by the Texas Legislature and what our faith can offer in building a more just and vibrant Texas! Or, if you are in the Austin area, just take a long lunch and join thousands of other Catholics on the south steps of the Capitol at 11:30 am to pray and rally with our bishops!
