Blue Mass and Blessing of the Fleet

The Catholic Diocese of Dallas invites the community to its 9th Annual Blue Mass and Blessing of the Fleet, honoring all public safety personnel, law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, and emergency personnel, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, located at 2215 Ross Ave. in downtown Dallas.

Bishop Edward J. Burns, bishop of Dallas, will bless the fleet at 9:00 a.m. outside the Cathedral and celebrate Mass at 10:00 a.m. inside the Cathedral.

This special liturgy is a time to offer prayerful gratitude for the men and women who serve courageously and selflessly to keep our communities and nation safe. The Mass will also serve as a solemn remembrance of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
