St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Plano, TX seeks a dynamic individual to serve as Director of Worship.  The primary purpose of this position is to serve as parish liturgist, collaborating with Clergy, staff and volunteers to provide oversite and planning of liturgical celebrations, including liturgical feasts, seasons, ceremonies, weddings and funerals.  In addition to liturgical planning, duties include administration (recruiting volunteers, developing and administering a budget, creating worship aids, acquiring vestments, vessels and other liturgical paraphernalia), education/formation, consultation and program creation/implementation.

The position requires some evening and weekend hours.  We are looking for a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, with a deep knowledge and appreciation of the liturgy of the Church.  Ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment is a must.  Master’s degree in Liturgy or Theology is preferred.  A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience working at a Catholic parish or Diocese, as well as supervisory experience is required.  This is a full time salaried position, reporting to the Pastor.
